SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI: DEVIL SURVIVOR 2 Media

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 logo

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor was one of the best-reviewed RPGs for the Nintendo DS.

Now, Atlus is releasing the American-localized and expanded sequel Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2!

Admittedly, I don’t know much about the original, and I know less about the sequel. Still, for fans of Japanese-styled RPGs, this one offers loads of customization and personalization.

Expect SMT: Devil Survivor 2 in early 2012!

Tomb Raider 15 Year Celebration Logo

The Art of Tomb Raider

Square-Enix and Crystal Dynamics celebrated 15 years of Tomb Raider with an art gallery, featuring 8 different artists: Andy Park, Camilla d’Errico, Long Vo, Brenoch Adams, Brian Horton, Randy Green, Jonathan Jacques-Belletete, and Toby Gard. I have a small sample of some of the art, and the rest of the gallery and prints can be found at tombraider.com/15.

Jillian Michaels Fitness Adventure Out Now

Although I would be perfectly content with no more Jillian Michaels, her scary face has invaded the Xbox 360’s Kinect.

The game features several workouts in an adventure. As Indiana Jones would say, it takes thousands of lunges to get to a mummy’s tomb. Also, the game allows you to upload your stats with XBL and compare yourself to your friends.

As I always say, if gamers want to get fit, they should go outside.

The game is slated to hit PS3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in 2012, and it looks great!

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat Gameplay Trailer

Slated for December 2011 for those who forgot to buy their Christmas presents!

King of Fighters XIII Delivers 6 New Trailers

This epic fighter will be available November 22!

Zumba Fitness 2 Media

I have no idea when this is going to be released, but I was sent some new screenshots and the Wii trailer. If these screen shots were taken from the Wii, you have to give it up to Majesco: They have pulled a lot of graphical power out of that little machine!

Nano Assault Shows Screen Shots

This little 3DS game deeply interests me. It’s a third-party game on a Nintendo program that is a great idea. It looks good. My biggest concern is that it will be a one-note game from start to finish.

DaGeDar Trailer

DaGeDar launches November 15 on the Nintendo DS. It reminds me of Uniracers from the SNES, but I don’t know if that’s enough to justify this bargain-bin game.

Sanctum Announces a Patch

But this patch is for DLC! “The Old City” will feature two new maps, a new weapon, and a new tower.

Trine 2 Launches Official Website!

And on top of the Trine 2 website, 18 new screenshots have been posted for your viewing pleasure. Be sure to put Trine 2 in your bookmarks for more trailers, screenshots, and news to the sequel of one of my favorite RPG-platformers of all time!

New DaGeDar Cover Art

Welcome to Halloween! I doubt the media from this week will scare anyone, though. Tell you what, image that you are getting DaGeDar for Christmas. That should scare you!

Zumba Fitness Rush Release Date Announced

Zumba Fitness Rush will be hitting the Xbox 360’s Kinect in February of 2012.

Army Corps of Hell Announced

Square-Enix has announced Army Corps of Hell for the PlayStation Vita in 2012.

The game uses the touch screen on the PS Vita to select and lead armies of Orcs as the King of Hell tries to reclaim his throne. The game looks interesting as an Action-RTS title, but it should be taken for what it is: a launch title.

Rock of Ages Halloween Special

Atlus’s Rock of Ages is getting some spooky DLC with a Jack-o-lantern Rock.

The DLC is 25% off until today (Halloween-duh!).

New Heroes of Ruin Trailer

Quantum Conundrum Media

Square-Enix plans to release this downloadable game to PC, PSN, and XBLA sometime in February of 2012.

Jaws: Ultimate Predator Media

Back in the days of the NES, Jaws hit the consoles as a survival horror/fishing sim. It was terrible.

The player would man a small fishing boat and hunt for Jaws. Periodically, a buzzer would sound, and the player had to dive under water and kill the sea life. There were many smaller sharks, causing gamers to wonder if a mistake had been made and multiple Jawses were programmed into the game by mistake. If a player continued long enough, he would finally discover Jaws, the largest shark in the game. There was nothing profound about the game.

Still, I’d rather play that than this dribble hitting the 3DS and the Wii.

Wakfu Media

Final Fantasy Tactics, I’d like you to meet World of Warcraft.

Some time in the next year, I’m expecting you to produce a child named Wakfu!
