Achievement Unlocked: Poop Taken
Everybody has a ritual for when he or she is on the pot. Some people read the dictionary or a magazine and others pass the time posting their facebook status. I recently realized that I’ve accomplished a lot “dropping the Browns off at the Superbowl”… so here’s a list of my achievements:
Final Fantasy II (Japan IV)
As a cheap college student, I have never been up to date on cell phone technology. My T-mobile G1 has been my phone for the past 3 years It’s qwerty keyboard and Android OS provide a good emulating device. This is the portable that I’ve used on the portable to complete a good share of retro gaming titles. The first game I played on the SNES emulator is Final Fantasy II.
Arguably one of the best titles in the franchise, Final Fantasy II kept me busy for months, not because it’s a massive game, but because the only place I played was at the aforementioned locale.
Eiji Aonuma Hints at 3DS Zelda
With the success of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Nintendo Wii, producer Eiji Aonuma has already leaked a Zelda game coming to the Wii U, and recent comments cause some to believe that there is another Zelda game coming to the 3DS:
The long sailing time of creating Skyward Sword, a game to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Zelda series, has just come to an end. Well, to tell the truth, we’ve already set sail in a new voyage.
Personally, I have stated that Nintendo needs to exploit their original franchises like Activision does with Call of Duty, but are two Zelda games in 2012 too much? Or are you excited to see two interpretations on different platformers?
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Review
Every gamer who has ever called themselves a gamer has played at least one Zelda game. Perhaps Zelda would be considered a “hipster’s game,” for they who jailbreak their Ps3 and pimp their PC with liquid-cooling for Crysis, but we have to consider that incredibly long-standing game titles stay popular for a reason (sorry, Final Fantasy, you would be an exception to this).
Is it possible for a game to better with each sequel? Yes, yes it is. Zelda: Skyward Sword has been considered by IGN to be “the greatest Zelda game ever created” –woah now.
Image of the Week: Song of Storms
Wouldn’t it be nice if, in real life, one could remove a mystical instrument from his or her satchel/manpurse, play a mad tune, and watch the clouds billow into a clustered mass of precipitation? That’s how Link does Read the rest of this entry
